Dine To Gather is simply Dubai's 'Tastiest Way To Meet New People’! Let's combine the new way of socialising with old values.

Let's cook together. Let's be excited to welcome new people into our home. Let's Dine To Gather face to face in a private, relaxed atmosphere. It's regaining that feeling of excitement learning peoples' backgrounds, hearing their stories and making personal connections. And who knows, you might find new friends or even enter into a relationship.

Our chefs special: You won't dine at one place only. No! You and your cooking partner will have a 3-course menu at locations within max. 30 min drive, with each course in a different private home according to the event schedule. You are the chef for only one course and for the other courses you can sit back and relax to enjoy the culinary highlights at the other hosts homes. At the end all participants meet at the After-Dinner Event to have fun and make new friends.

You get your 'Personal Dinner Route' 3-4 days prior to the event incl. your assigned course to cook, the event schedule, any special dietary requirements as well as the contact details of the other hosts. You are supposed to meet before the dinner route (starts 06:30 PM) and cook together (for 6 Pers.). It's all about preparation. When your guests arrive it's only finishing touches for you to have more time to dine and get to know each other.

Then your dinner route can start. Per course two further teams will join you, so you will be 6 people per course. Yalla Yalla! Time to go to the next one! Too complicated? Check our page 'Your Journey' for details.

The easiest for sure is to grab your friend, colleague or someone who loves to experience new adventures and to join the culinary journey together. You are on your own? Not a problem! Your SUPRISE cooking partner is waiting for you. We do our best to match according to age and interests.

Per course your team (you and your cooking partner) will meet 2 other teams (4 people), resulting in 6 people per course. During the courses you won't meet the same person twice. By the end of the Dine To Gather event you will have met 12 new people.

We think a team of 2 is great to cook together and start the evening as well as 6 people per course are ideal to gather.

After-Dinner Event

The After-Dinner Event is your chance to reconnect with all participants within a cheerful atmosphere and delicious drinks. Have fun with your new friends and plan your next meet up.

It varies depending on the size and area of the event, but definitively will be nearby and give you the chance to meet again.

My Route

After having bought your ticket and created your personal account, you get your 'Personal Dinner Route' 3-4 days prior to the event incl. your assigned course to cook, the event schedule, any special dietary requirements as well as the contact details of the other hosts. Furthermore, it will include a timeline for the evening in order for you to prepare your evening journey in advance (cook, pre-order taxi for example).

Starter (06:30 PM - 07:30 PM) / Main (08:00 PM - 09:30 PM) / Dessert (10:00 PM - 10:30 PM) / After-Dinner Event (approx. 11:00 PM)

The routes will be created on base of a mathematical procedure. During the courses you won't meet the same person twice and we do our best to assign you to an interesting route to create an exceptional evening. 

The ideal route is truly depending on the number of participants per event as well as the size of the area. We do apologise if you got a longer route. We try to keep the maximum travelling route to 30 min.

Each start of the course is predefined.

Starter (06:30 PM - 07:30 PM) / Main (08:00 PM - 09:30 PM) / Dessert (10:00 PM - 10:30 PM) / After-Dinner Event (approx. 11:00 PM)

You should be on time. Please pre-check your route in advance how much time it takes approximately as well as pre-order taxis in case you plan to go by taxi. Nevertheless, you will receive lovely ‘YALLA YALLA messages’ from us which should give you a trigger when it’s time to move on.

City

Dine To Gather offers events on an area assigned base. We try to keep the minimum travelling time to maximum 30 min. So far, we do offer Dubai a) JBR - Marina - JLT - Barsha Heights - Greens – Springs – The Lakes - The Palm b) Downtown - Business Bay - DIFC. If you cannot find an event covering your area, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@dinetogather.com.

If you can not find an event covering your area or you are really close to the assigned ones, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@dinetogather.com.

Participate

Everyone who likes cooking, dining and gathering. Singles, couples, friends, Mums & Dads, newbies, all nationalities are welcome. More event specific details can be found at the event ticket. You must be minimum 21 years old. Typically, our guests are 25 to 45 years old.

As I got to know Dubai, it luckily provides a kitchen in every home. So the cooking part should work well in each home. Have a small home? No worries, they are great for starters or desserts. Tell us! And be creative! Having a starter in the kitchen or even having a main course as picnic on the floor. It’s up to you to make your guests enjoy this culinary journey.

It's up to you! Your dish should be something in between easy as cooking eggs and serving five star lobster ;) and find something easy to prepare in advance. If it's your favourite course or even home country dish, as long as it's cooked with love your guests will appreciate it. Tell us about allergies or special food types, your hosts will get the information. Also check our recipe and decoration page to get some ideas.

Get your ticket! When you create your account, you will have the option to state your allergies or if you don’t eat specific food. Your hosts will get the information.

Per event minimum 18 people need to participate as well as the number of event participants must always be divided by 3. Then you will cook one time and eat three times at three different locations never meeting the same people twice. We don’t want to cancel someone in the first run. That’s why it could occur that two teams might be guests only for the evening and are asked for to bring some drinks. Then you will host 8 instead of 6 people. Maximum two teams will host 8 and it’s very rare.

Event Cancellations

To be eligible for a return, a cancellation email must be sent to cancellation@dinetogather.com at least 7 (seven) days before the event by 12 (twelve) PM. Please see our Delivery and Refund Policy for further information. All later received cancellations are non-refundable. Please bear in mind the event re-organisation is complex.

Yes, as soon as you cancel for this event, your cooking partner is cancelled too.

Per event minimum 18 people need to participate as well as the number of event participants must always be able to be divided by 3. We don’t want to cancel someone in the first run. That’s why it could occur that two teams might be guests only for the evening and are asked for to bring some drinks. Therefore, we must have registered homes who could host up to 8 people. If this is not the case, we are sorry, but we need to cancel you for this event. In this case the ticket could be transferred to another event within the next 6 months. The event price is non-refundable.

You will receive a FREE code either when the event was cancelled by us (valid for 6 months from purchase date) or your cancellation was approved (valid for 2 months from purchase date). 

Check our homepage for all upcoming events and choose an event you would like to join. You simply need to LOG IN to the Personal Account at least 7 (seven) days before the event by 12 (twelve) PM and click EDIT to update your next EVENT DATE, FREE CODE and any OTHER DETAILS if necessary. Have any of your personal details changed and your event is within 7 days? Please contact us asap at event@dinetogather.com. This way your Dine To Gather event will run smoothly. Thank you.

Ticket, Login, Customer Account and Password

Our event tickets are sold online on our homepage www.dinetogather.com. Create your customer account and get your ticket. 

All information requested, helps us to match you with like-minded people and plan the event schedule for a smooth enjoyable Dine To Gather experience. This personal data is only collected to organise the event and not distributed to any other third parties except the event participants. Please read our Terms and Conditions.

Only Dine To Gather and yourself have access to this data.

All participants agree to confidential handling of the data provided via email or mobile phone or any other way. Further distribution to any other third parties outside the event explicitly require the prior consent of sender, especially in relation to personal communication and address data. For further information please see our Privacy Policy.

You want to leave us? Why? Yes, it's possible. Please send an email to info@dinetogather.com. Your account will be deleted. We would be thankful to understand the reason to serve you or other customers better.

Once you created your account, you simply need to LOG IN to the Personal Account click EDIT to view your details. Have any of your personal details changed and your event is within 7 days? Please contact us asap at event@dinetogather.com. This way your Dine To Gather event will run smoothly. Thank you.
